Carla Hodge, LMSW
Carla Hodge is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Virginia with over a decade of experience in social services supporting individuals through trauma, life transitions, mental health challenges, and financial instability. Her approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and grounded in deep respect for each client’s life story.
Carla specializes in assisting individuals navigate grief, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and issues related to self-worth. Additionally, she has extensive experience working with veterans and the unique challenges this population faces.
Carla uses a blend of evidence-based approaches, including mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She is a Certified Trauma Professional, Certified Housing Counselor, and Certified Financial Social Worker, and taps into these skillsets to provide a comprehensive therapeutic approach.
